Rit All Purpose Liquid Dye is a versatile fabric dye for transforming fabrics, refreshing garments, and creating custom colour effects. Available in 38 colours that can be mixed to create hundreds of custom shades.
Compatible Fibres & Materials
- Natural fibres including cotton, linen, silk, wool, and ramie
- Rayon and nylon
- Fabric blends containing up to 35% polyester
- Can also be used on materials such as wood, wicker, paper, feathers, cork, and some plastics
Not Suitable For
- 100% polyester
- Acetate
- Acrylic
- Fiberglass
- Spandex
- Metallic fibres
- Items with rubber backings, such as some bath mats and rugs
For synthetic fabrics, use Rit DyeMore for Synthetic Fibres instead.
How to Use
Can be applied using a washing machine, plastic bucket, stainless-steel sink, or suitable pot. Great for traditional dyeing as well as tie-dye, dip-dye, ombré, and shibori techniques.
